Jeff Zack

Jeff Zack has spent years fishing for salmon and refining jigging techniques around Muskegon, Ludington, and the Gulf of America. After wishing he could fish another line without adding another aching arm, he began building his own jig fishing machines. The early versions were fussy, but they caught fish. Five years of field testing later, those experiments have evolved into the all-digital Relentless JFM, designed to make jigging more effective and enjoyable.

Jeff is a lifelong entrepreneur and inventor. A Chamber Entrepreneur of Excellence recipient, he has helped build three successful start-ups. Most recently, he co-founded and co-owned Fomcore before retiring in 2024. Retirement gave him more time to fish, but it did not quiet the entrepreneurial instinct. Relentless JFM brings those two passions together.

What is the warranty?

RELENTLESSJFM Machine Limited Warranty

12 Month Parts and Labor Coverage

RELENTLESSJFM warrants your machine against defects in
materials and workmanship for 12 months from the original date of purchase.

During this period, RELENTLESSJFM will repair or replace
defective parts and provide the labor required for covered repairs at no
charge.

What Is Covered

This warranty covers defects that occur during normal use
when the machine is operated and maintained according to RELENTLESSJFM’s
instructions.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover normal wear, consumable items,
or damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper installation, lack of
maintenance, or unauthorized modifications or repairs.

How to Request Service

Contact Relentlessjfm.com before sending your machine or any
parts for service. Provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue. RELENTLESSJFM
will provide instructions for the next steps.

Shipping to RELENTLESSJFM

The sender is responsible for the cost of shipping the
machine or parts to RELENTLESSJFM for service. Items must be securely packaged
to help prevent damage during transit.

This warranty gives you specific rights. You may also have
other rights under applicable law.

What do I do if I don't have an Android Phone or Tablet?

First, the Relentless JFM still catches fish in manual mode. But second, I think I have found an excellent solution that only cost $59.00. Check out the Boost Mobile TCL 50XL Phone with NEXPAPER screen that is easy to read, even in bright sun and with sunglasses on! I like it so much I am switching from my phone to this. How much will it cost?

It is $700 for the base unit, $759 with battery and charger.

What can I use it for?

Set the Relentless Jig Fishing Machine to lift the rod and follow the line down with minimal slack allowing the jig to flutter like a wounded bait.

It can jig while you take a break and be your second rod jigging. The machine is designed for attended use only: remain nearby, monitor the rod and line, and be ready to take control promptly. Snap mode uses a quick upward stroke followed by a slower return. Its purpose is to work the lure effectively, not automatically set the hook. Always follow applicable fishing regulations, rod limits, and tournament rules

What kind of battery do you use?

The RFM uses Kobalt style 24V, 4AH, batteries that provide between 4 and 6 hours of continuous use. We offer a generic 4AH, 24V battery and charger for purchase with the RFM but do not offer additional batteries. Your best source for additional batteries is Lowe's where they are often on DEEP discount. Alternate is Amazon.

Will it work in saltwater?

Yes, but it has not been extensively tested in a saltwater environment. The Aluminum  components are made of anodized  aluminum and  care should be taken concerning corrosion. The motor, servo, and cables are IP65 rated for gentle washdown. The enclosure is as water resistant as we can make it but additional care should be used.
